Machine Maintenance

Rented equipment will always look a little beat up and dirty. Our machines are no exception. Though we cannot stop our beautiful machines from showing the signs of aging (they still all look shiny and red like in the picture though), Steam it Gone does not want to bring other people’s dirt into your home. That is why we take pains to thoroughly clean the machine in between rentals.

Before the machine reaches your home and immediately after each machine is picked up, the delivery person wipes down the entire machine, all of its attachments and the bristles of each brush head with isopropyl alcohol.

We use alcohol because alcohol kills any contaminants: germs, viral or bacterial residue, mold spores, dust mites, or other pests. Though the machine’s design, smooth and plastic, is resistant to being a carrier for any of these things, we at Steam it Gone just want to make sure that when we deliver our machines to you, that is all we are delivering.

That is why we ask each customer to remove any debris they may have gotten into the bristles of the brush as this is terribly time consuming for the driver to do. We do our best to bring each of our customers a near sterile machine and we thank you for your assistance.
